Want a purr-fect solution for a holiday gift for someone who has everything? How about a unique birthday or anniversary gift you can give any time of the year? Would you like to set up a memorial for a beloved pet? Perhaps your landlord won't allow pets or there are allergies in the family and you love cats.

Adopt-A-Cage is the answer!
Give that special person, or yourself (you know you deserve it) a gift to enjoy all year long. It's easy to do and custom designed by you.
The Purr-fect Cat Shelter Adopt-A-Cage program allows you to adopt a cage at the shelter to support with as little as $5 a month. Each month you'll receive the monthly pledge reminder along with a picture of the cat currently "visiting" the cage. If you adopt a cage as a gift for someone, you will receive the monthly pledge reminder, and the photo of the resident kitty will be mailed to the person receiving your gift. Your gift is also tax deductible.

Here's what to do:

2) Choose your favorite cage number
3) Fill out the application
4) Choose the amount of your monthly contribution ($5 minimum please)
5) Send in your application and pledge money!

CAGE 22
 
"Jessica" Young Adult, S/F, DLH, Black with White. Jessica was surrendered to the shelter by her owner because she was moving and unable to take Jessica with her. Jessica is a small, sweet girl. She is not overly fond of other cats and would prefer a home with no small children and no other animals.

"Emory" Young Adult, N/M, DMH, Orange. Emory is extremely intelligent. He was rescued by a volunteer's son who attends Clark University in Worcester. An adorable, playful cat who has assimilated well to his new digs. Adopting Emory would be like graduating with honors.

"Zoe" Adult, S/F, DSH, Brown Tabby with White. Zoe was given up to Animal Control as a stray by a local person who was moving. Zoe seems to be a sweet "lap" cat with a wonderful, laid-back personality. She exhibits no signs of a "stray". Should do well in most home environments.

"C.C." Young Adult, S/F, DLH, Diluted Calico. C.C.'s owner passed away and she was surrendered to the shelter. She is an independent Calico with a slightly shy nature. She is looking for a stable, quiet home that she will love and flourish in. Can you provide this beauty her dream home?

"Cassie" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Diluted Tortie. Cassie was rescued as a stray by a good Samaritan who feared for her life living near a busy road. Cassie was held by Animal Control and was unclaimed. She is now more than ready for a new human. Cassie would prefer an adult home or with older children in a quiet environment. No other cats; this girl is a princess!

"Shiloh" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Tortie. Shiloh was one lucky cat! Rescued by a PCS volunteer after her family abandoned her, she required a quarantine due to a wound. Now at the shelter and loving all the attention, this sweet girl will make an awesome family pet. Shiloh is sweet and adorable and waiting for you to take her home.

"Patches" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Patches was rescued as an older kitten with a wound and recuperated with our Animal Control Officer. She is now fully recovered, moved to the shelter and is ready for a new, loving home. A tad shy but extremely sweet. Patches may prefer a quiet home.

"Tigger" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Orange Tabby with White. Unlike his namesake from the Winnie The Pooh stories, this Tigger is not bouncy & pouncy! Our Tigger is very sweet, quiet and low-key. He would be great with another feline of similar temperament. He is enjoying all the attention and grooming that our volunteers lovingly provide. ADOPTED - new resident coming soon!!!

"Sunny" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Orange Tiger with White. Sunny is Sweet Pea's brother who would like to be adopted with another cat friend. A very handsome, classic orange tiger male who should be a magnificent addition to your home.

"Keisha" Adult, S/F, DSH, Gray with White, Declawed. Keisha was surrendered to the shelter because she couldn't or wouldn't get along with the other cat in the household. Keisha would really love a quiet home where she could be the only pet - of course, this quiet home needs a warm lap! ADOPTED - new resident coming soon!!!

"Lotus" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Diluted Tortie, Double Paws. A local family rescued Lotus and contacted the shelter for assistance. Lotus gave birth to 5 kittens in one of our foster homes and now it's time for Mom to find her own home. Lotus is very petite and a little spunky. No young children and no other cats would be best for this pretty little girl.

"Lobo" Young Adult, N/M, DLH, Black. Lobo was found one morning abandoned at a local animal hospital. He is a very handsome cat with big, beautiful gold eyes. Lobo is a sweet boy who appears to interact well with other cats. He should do well in most environments.

"Miranda" Adult, S/F, DSH, Orange with White. Poor Miranda, her elderly owner passed away and the Animal Control Officer was called to remove her from the home. She is now under the loving care of PCS and we would really like to find her another home, similar to what she was used to. Do you have a quiet home without another pet? Miranda is hoping you will come visit with her and maybe take her home. ADOPTED - new resident coming soon!!!

"Duffy" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Buff and White. Duffy was given to the shelter by a local animal hospital because his owner had passed away. Duffy is a large, handsome boy who interacts well with all the cats at the shelter. He has a wonderful personality and will do well in your home. ADOPTED - new resident coming soon!!!

"Angelica" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Gray with White. A beautiful cat with a long, lean body, Angelica was picked up by our local ACO. After months of going unclaimed, she was turned over to the shelter to find her a new home. Angelica is vocal, independent and has a lot of moxie. She would like a home without other cats and also no small children.

"Kira" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Black. Kira was living under a porch in a neighboring community. After being trapped, she was sent to a foster home to be given TLC and a chance to learn to trust humans. A sweet girl who gets along well with others, both feline and human, her manners will make you proud. No etiquette classes needed for this graceful girl!

"Linus" Older Kitten, N/M, DSH, Brown tiger. Linus was found by a college student and brought into the dormitory. Unfortunately, he got caught and is now living at the shelter instead of the dorm! What a cutie! Linus is energetic and very personable. He enjoys the company of other cats and would make a great addition to any home. ADOPTED - new resident coming soon!!!

"Zeke" Young Adult, N/M, DMH, Black & White. Not neutered and living on the street, Zeke was lucky to be rescued by the local Animal Control Officer who turned him over to PCS. He has very unique markings and a gorgeous plumed tail. Zeke is a wonderful cat that would prefer the companionship of humans to that of other cats.

"Minnie" Young adult, S/F, DSH, Black. Minnie was part of a litter of kittens trapped at a local car dealership. Shy and petite, this little girl loves to cuddle in your neck, be petted and groomed. Minnie needs a quiet home without other cats so that she can feel safe and secure. more pictures!

"Gracie" Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Gracie was surrendered to the shelter because she refused to get along with a new kitten brought into her home. She loves other cats, a little shy and she prefers to spend much of her day dreaming alone. She deserves a good home where she will share space with her family.

"Gwen" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, White with Tiger Patches. Gwen was rescued as a stray and was never claimed by her human. She is a beautiful cat with striking eyes. Not real fond of other cats but will do well in an adult home or quiet environment.

"Sweet Pea" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Sweet Pea was one of 13 cats rescued from a feral colony. Most have found homes just leaving Sweet Pea and a few others. A tad shy but a lovely cat, she would do best in a quiet home.
