CAGE 22

"Jessica" Adult, S/F, DLH, Black with White. Jessica was surrendered to the shelter by her owner because she was moving and unable to take Jessica with her. Jessica is a small, sweet girl. She is not overly fond of other cats and would prefer a home with no small children and no other animals.
CAGE 21

"Shelby" Adult, S/F, DLH, Black & White. PCS received a call from a very concerned woman who had found a small cat in her yard, extremely matted and very hungry. Taken to one of our veterinarians, Shelby was a bit on the thin side but otherwise in good health. Unable to comb out her fur, she needed to be shaved down. Shelby is a petite, quiet cat and needs a peaceful, adult home where she can just "chill out" and finally enjoy the good life!
CAGE 20

"Iris" Young adult, S/F, DSH, Tortie. Iris was living in a neighboring community with a colony of cats that were trapped by PCS. Iris is a very petite cat with a sweet and gentle nature. Iris seems very interested and not intimidated by her new surroundings She would do well living in a home with other cats and older children.
CAGE 19

"Cinnamon" Older Kitten, S/F, DSH, Buff. Cinnamon is just as cute as can be and has a friendly and outgoing personality. This little girl is active and in need of a young family. Cinnamon would do well with another cat. She and her brother, Tanner make an adorable and friendly pair! Why not consider taking them both home!
CAGE 18

"Logan" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Black and White. Logan was rescued by a good Samaritan who then called PCS for help in finding him a home. He's enjoying the indoor life with comforts of a warm bed, great meals, sunny windows and the volunteer's attention. Logan has a quiet demeanor but will quickly engage in a playful round of chase the mouse! A handsome boy who's ready to go home.
CAGE 17

"Raven"Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Black. This beautiful black beauty was picked up by our local Animal Control Officer after being hit by a car. Raven suffered a severe wound to her rear leg and had to have a surgical procedure. She is on the mend and doing great. She is a sleek black cat with amazing amber eyes that seem to say thank you for helping me! Raven is gentle and loving and enjoying her grooming sessions.
CAGE 16

"MJ"Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Brown Tiger. MJ was surrendered to the shelter with a litter of four kittens. The person who surrendered MJ had taken her from a friend who was not allowed to have a cat in her apartment. As a nursing mother, MJ was very protective of her babies and was not getting along with the cat that was already in this household. It was in MJ's best interest and that of her kittens to remove all of them from this home. Now spayed and at the shelter, MJ is a bit intimidated by the other cats. She is slowing making progress with adapting to shelter life but would make a nice companion to an older person who lives a quiet and relaxed lifestyle.
CAGE 15

"Reeses" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Black. Reeses was surrendered to the shelter along with her four adorable chocolate brown kittens. Reeses' little ones have all found wonderful homes and now it is her turn to do the same. She is a small cat with a sweet disposition. Reeses would be an excellent addition to any home.
CAGE 14

"Ashton" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Black with white spot on chest. This very handsome gentle giant was found and turned over to the Animal Control Officer. Already neutered and not claimed by anyone it is presumed that he was "dumped" by his family. Ashton is very sweet and would make a wonderful family pet. He would be good with other cats, children and possibly a dog.
CAGE 13

"Rex" Older Kitten, N/M, DSH, Black & White. Rex was one of two kittens living out of a dumpster. Two days after the first kitten was trapped, Rex went into the trap and was taken to the Veterinarian for a full exam, neuter, testing and vaccines. Rex was in foster care being domesticated; he has come a very long way. He had a little bit of a setback when he first came to the shelter; however he has now settled in and is playing and doing very well. He doesn’t like to be picked up but certainly enjoys his grooming sessions with the volunteers. Rex has very unique markings and would really enjoy the companionship of another cat.
CAGE 12

"Ms. Whiskers" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Ms. Whiskers was adopted from the shelter two years ago by a very nice lady. The woman became ill very suddenly and passed away leaving Ms. Whiskers with no family. A neighbor called the shelter and we went over to pick her up and bring her back to the shelter. When she first arrived back at the shelter she was so sad and lonely for her owner. Thanks to the PCS volunteers who are giving her lots of love, she is making the adjustment to life back at the shelter. Ms. Whiskers is such a beautiful and gentle girl, we hope to find someone who will open their heart and home.
CAGE 11

"Amelia" Adult, S/F, DSH, Brown Tiger. Amelia most likely was dumped by her owner. Found as a stray, she was already spayed and looked very well fed. Animal Control held her and waited for an owner to come forward and claim her. When that didn't happen, she was turned over to PCS and is now up for adoption and looking for a forever home. Amelia would be great for someone looking for a lap cat. She loves to be rubbed and groomed.
CAGE 10

"Socks" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Black & White. Socks came to PCS via our Animal Control Officer. Picked up as a stray and never claimed, this big boy has a very gentle and friendly nature. Socks is mostly black with some white on his chest, his paws and his "Got Milk" moustache! He is very good with other cats and would be wonderful in almost any home.
CAGE 9

"Jasper" Older kitten, N/M, DSH Gray Tiger. The shelter was working a feral colony in a neighboring community when we trapped Jasper. We still are not sure how this kitten got into the trap. He was born with a deformed right rear leg that stuck straight up. The Veterinarian who removed Jasper's leg said he had never seen anything quite like it. There was no way that this kitten would have ever survived outside. He is an amazing little guy; sweet, gentle and courageous! He is very active, playful and loves playing with Lacey (another older kitten). He loves to be cuddled and has won the hearts of the volunteers.
CAGE 8

"Angelica" Adult, S/F, DSH, Gray with White. A beautiful cat with a long, lean body, Angelica was picked up by our local ACO. After months of going unclaimed, she was turned over to the shelter to find her a new home. Angelica is vocal, independent and has a lot of moxie. She would like a home without other cats and also no small children.
CAGE 7

"Sam" Young Adult, N/M, DLH, Gray Tiger. Sam is one very cute cat! He was surrendered to PCS along with his housemate, Walter. A bit shy and a little intimidated by his new surroundings, he gets braver with every day that goes by! PCS volunteers are giving Sam extra love and cuddling to help him feel secure and loved. Sam did live with children, but may be better suited for a home with just adults.
CAGE 6

"Selene" Young adult, S/F, DSH, Gray Tabby. Found under a porch with her four kittens, this tiny young girl with beautiful amber eyes was no more than a kitten herself. After spending time in a foster home, Selene is now ready to find a home of her own. Selene is a very playful cat and would really enjoy having a feline friend to run and relax with!
CAGE 5

"Walter" Young Adult, N/M, DLH, Black & White. If Walter could only talk...what tales he could tell! In his 3.5 years, Walter has been attacked by another animal twice. In 2008, Walter was so violently attacked, his injuries so severe, he was not anticipated to survive them. Miraculously, Walter proved them wrong! In September 2009, he once again sustained an attack which required him to spend 6 months in quarantine. Fresh out of quarantine and surrendered to PCS, we wish Walter a safe and secure indoor life. He has packed on a few pounds from his months of quarantine and we hope to help him slim down. Walter has been through a lot and we hope to find him a very special home!
CAGE 4

"Sampson " 8 year old, N/M, Siamese. Sampson's owner had passed away and he was sent to live with other family members. While in their care, Sampson ingested some medication that was left lying around. He was rushed to a 24 hour Emergency Veterinary Hospital where he spent a few days receiving medical attention. The family was totally unprepared to take care of Sampson and unable to pay the veterinary bill. They signed Sampson over to the Veterinary Hospital and they in turn called PCS to see if we would find him a home.

Sampson is doing awesome! All of his bloodwork has come back normal, with no affects of the substance he ingested. Sampson is a very handsome guy and also very quiet for a Siamese. A quiet, adult home with no other animals would be best for Sampson. He has had enough turmoil recently and we would like to get him settled into a permanent, loving home.
CAGE 3

"Rosie" Adult, S/F, DMH, Calico. Rosie is a very small and gentle calico who was surrendered to the shelter in deplorable condition. This little girl was so flea ridden that she had lost a great deal of her fur; she was full of sores and scabs on her skin and was also suffering from a skin infection. Even worse, the fleas were so bad that she had become anemic from all the blood that they took from her! Rosie is now a very healthy cat, with beautiful fur and a new outlook on life. She is sweet, loving and very gentle! PCS would love to find her a home where she can live as the only pet in a quiet environment.
CAGE 2

"Betty"Adult, S/F, DSH, Black & White. Found in a local community and held by the Animal Control Officer until we were certain that she wasn’t missing from her family, this very petite and sweet cat was not spayed and had most likely had numerous litters. Betty’s days of having babies are over and this little cutie is so deserving of a wonderful home.
CAGE 1

"Maggie" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Gray. Beautiful Maggie with her dark, dense gray fur was picked up as a stray by our local Animal Control Officer. Unclaimed, she was then turned over to PCS to find her forever home. Maggie is a big cat with a mellow disposition. She is a very talkative girl and wants to be heard! Maggie has been asking for a home with a family to love her. How about yours?
