The Purr-fect Cat Shelter (PCS) is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer organization. It was established to provide temporary shelter and care for cats, with the ultimate goal of finding permanent homes for each cat.
Cats accepted into the shelter stay as long as it is necessary. No cat will be destroyed because it has run out
of time to find a home. The PCS membership consists of volunteers who donate their time and energy, talents, and financial support to accomplish the goals of the Shelter. Some of these volunteers also serve on the board of directors. | ||

Many of the animals have very sad histories. PCS hopes to ensure that their future is
bright. One of the main goals of PCS is to find the right home for each animal. Each cat
is evaluated for personality traits and special requirements. Volunteers match the needs
of the adopter with the needs of the cat to ensure that each adoption will be a success.
