Quilt #1 is entitled "Ramon on the Amish Quilt" handcrafted by Karen Nemeczky.

This 36" square wall hanging is honoring a much loved PCS cat named "Ramon". Traditionally, Amish quilts are made with plain black fabric and sometimes bright colors. Karen has substituted beige calico triangles where black would have been used and has also used jewel-colored calicos where the Amish would have used bright plain scraps.
Karen created her own appliqué of "Ramon" and captured his gorgeous face and his smiling eyes! A quilt that is sure to bring a smile to your face!

Quilt #2: Handcrafted by Kris Tyree.

This 78" square quilt features a 3 dimensional pattern. Made in varying shades of browns, blues and yellow the illusion created is amazing! The colors used by Kris were determined by the back side of the quilt which features a very whimsical cat pattern of which the most prominent colors are the browns, blues and yellow.

Quilt #3:Handcrafted by Kathy Curley.

This beautiful queen size quilt is made of very colorful squares that resemble pinwheels. The colors are amazingly vibrant and if you look real close you can see a cat popping out of the center of each square. This quilt is machine washable and Kathy has included instructions on laundering a quilt that you will enjoy for years to come!

Quilt #4: Handcrafted by Gert Fowler.

The 2011 quilt by Gert Fowler was inspired by one of the recent adoptions from the Purrfect Cat Shelter. She became the proud mom to two brothers, now known as Trouble and Mischief! Gert began sketching, and soon had a likeness of Mischief, and drew 4 others to join him. After being creative in Photoshop and transferring the images to fabric, they became a part of this quilt combining two of Gert's passions, sewing and art. This striking quilt is done in reds, black, white and yellows, with complimentary whimsical cat fabric joining the art panels. This quilt is sure to please any Purrfect Cat fan, since it includes the "Purrfect Cat" and another happy to be in their forever home! The back features color coordinating fabric and the artist's special tag.
