Our Mission

The Purr-fect Cat Shelter (PCS) is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer organization. It was established to provide temporary shelter and care for cats, with the ultimate goal of finding permanent homes for each one of them. Cats accepted into the shelter stay as long as it is necessary and will not be euthanized because they have run out of time to find a home. The PCS membership consists of volunteers who donate their time and energy, talents, and financial support to accomplish the goals of the Shelter. Some of these volunteers also serve on the Board of Directors.

Cat of the month:  Moe

“Moe” is a handsome tuxedo cat sadly surrendered to the shelter with his sister “Laila”. Their owner needed to move to take care of a family member and unfortunately the family member is allergic to cats. Moe is is making strides in accepting the volunteer’s love and attention. He is a sweet boy and we think he would do well in a home that will give him time to get comfortable and familiar with his new surroundings.

Volunteer

Various opportunities exist to volunteer with a great group of individuals.  Find out more about being  a caregiver, foster care or supporting us at a community event by going to  the "How to Support Us"

We need cat caregiver volunteers!! We are looking for people close to Millis/Medway/Franklin/Bellingham or surrounding areas.
